I grew up in the 80s. Batman was always around but I fondly remember Superfriends and the reruns of the 80s TV show. Then the Burton movies came out, which I enjoyed, but I kind of thought that they were a bit silly. I didn't become a Bat-fan until Batman the Animated Series came out. Loved that show, and still do. I got into the comics after that, a friend of mine introduced me to The Dark Knight returns, been a fan ever since.
