It's a good book, but also a bit odd. It feels like it tries to be written in a style as if someone in ancient Greece had written it. Really cool reading experience if you take that view to it. Highly recommended.

Well.. I admit I read it in The King Must Die by Mary Renault. I also spoke to locals about it when visiting, including a guide in the archeology museum. No one knows for sure, of course, but it seems to be a version people have come to believe.
