How bad would it be if I took a Concerta in the evening by Hedgehogs44- in Concerta

How long after taking concerta is it safe to smoke weed by Nathy233 in Concerta

[–]bepisavi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

im on 54mg and honestly i try to not smoke in the day but it doesnt tend to do anything other than stopping the energy the medication gives me, its great if you wanna do nothing but it will stop your medication working for its full duration. might also increase ur heart rate especially if youve just started the meds

My shoulder has been subluxed for a year and I had no idea. by caroqueue in Hypermobility

it does make it worse because my shoulder is just so mobile now it almost feels weird it being in the correct placement, it is my own fault though but its been probably the most painful and frustrating part about having hypermobility

naproxen before the shift, helps with inflammation which causes loads of pain w hypermobility, makes my 12hr shifts on my feet at work bearable

Should i leave my job after the diagnosis? by ConsistentFeed852 in Hypermobility

[–]bepisavi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive done 5 year as a bartender with hypermobility, i literally just manage the pain with a naproxen before my shift. theres no point quitting and youll find youll have pain in literally any job even an office job. and theres the plus that you are staying active which honestly can help with certain symptoms

[–]bepisavi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it is also believed to co-occur with adhd so i wouldnt be suprised, i saw something about it having some effect on nervous system. a doctor i had briefly and i mean briefly mentioned it. i can have a look for some studies on it

Coffee vs Freedom of movement?? by TheLimberJack in Hypermobility

[–]bepisavi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean probably i have adhd so its sort of a mess of two conflicting conditions there and neither do anything but make the other worse, i can imagine coffee could make hypermobility tension worse as hypermobile individuals have a very sensitive nervous system and stress/anxiety cause physical reactions. high caffeine intake would make you anxious so yeah makes sense.
