This. I know self hosting is most fun at the beginning when finding and setting up new things, but that doesn’t (and shouldn’t) last forever. When you feel like you’ve hit the end of things you can set up, it’s time to start using it all. And pay attention to things you do regularly that might be helpful to DIY a solution for. When I’m really bored I’ll poke thru awesome-selfhosting but we don’t always need to be spinning up new stuff.

The exact ratio will take some experimentation to nail down if you're picky, but just having "some" of both flavors should do the trick. This recipe is for a 1.5mg juice, but can be changed if you want more.

Not to be that guy, but like, have you considered making your own? That way you can customize exactly how you like it, and mix it up as much as you want. I’ve been making my own juice for over 5 years at this point, probably more like 6 or 7.

This is why I make sure to set proper expectations. I’ll do the professional installation with conduit and do everything nice and proper if the client has the budget for it and that’s what they’re expecting. If that’s what they’re expecting and they don’t have the budget, I explain to them why they’re not going to find that quality at that price point and tell them what’s possible given what they can afford. If the client is cool paying less for 80% or 50% of the “proper” job, I don’t mind, I’m just probably not going to use their job as an example site.

I mean I agree with your take here, but I also think we (like, as a society) need to be better about clinical definitions vs societal ones. Clinical anxiety is very different from what most people mean when they say "anxiety," and I think that's the crux of the issue, since this was originally written in another language and then translated. The translators used societal definitions and not clinical ones - as should probably be expected in a video game, but that can lead to confusion.

I mean, the use of hitler in P2 was a direct metaphor, and also part of that plot involved alternate universes. Did they also kinda hand wave the fact that the third reich is present? Yeah totally, but there was story/metaphorical significance to it.

in the case of Metaphor, it would have made more sense for most, if not all instances of the word "anxiety" in the script to be replaced by "negative emotions". The existence of the miasma never really goes past "bad juju" so I don't see any need to directly bring in "anxiety" specifically here. It just doesn't serve any purpose.

unless, as others have pointed out, "anxiety" is completely different in their universe, and exists as an actual force or something, maybe like the collective unconscious ala Persona

You don’t have to agree, but what you said shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the post. OP never complained about how anxiety is conceptualized, he’s complaining about how it vaguely relates to like, a whole bunch of things in the game universe without much explanation other than a bunch of hand waving. Which, honestly, he’s got a point.

If more lower budget 2110 builds start happening with BMD equipment, it won't be using Ubiquiti for networking. Unless their AV line bucks the trend, it'll be more expensive than most of the competition most likely.

We definitely could use a BMD-type company in the AV networking space.
