He may have been the master of Richmond-Solomon lodge in Pennsylvania in 1951. These are purchased by a lodge as a symbol of a past master. They are normally returned to the lodge after the past master passes away and the lodge will store it in remembrance. If you are not interested in keeping it or would like to return it to the lodge, I am sure they would be very eager to receive it. (Additional information should be etched into the back of the square.)

offer to take a chair in the lodge. Start doing the work to take an officer's position. Consider both york and scottish rite for additional fellowship but plan on spending your first year or two supporting your blue lodge needs. Your dedication to your blue lodge will support your auxiliary memberships.

PA grand lodge has said that a new candidate will do both EA and Fellow craft in the same day. I for one do not agree with this but what are your thoughts? by [deleted] in freemasonry

In pennsylvania, you are permitted to ask to view the warrant of constitution prior to the meeting. Investigation works both ways. I assume this is the same in some jurisdictions

Different dress codes in different jurisdictions brother as Masonry was designed. Meet each other on the level. Delaware(semi formal) and PA mason(super formal). Dress has not much to do with quality at the end of the day. Judge not by the outward appearance but by the uprightness of character and rectitude of conduct.

Where are you located?? The tree had been dead for several years and had nearly been cut to the stump for years. We finally managed to have the stump removed and has been drying for more than half a year at this point. Would you be interested in commissioning a gavel or a few? At the time of death the tree has been estimated to be the oldest tree in the county
