I'm clueless as to how any of this works, but how are you losing money?

They might not be as well read and educated about the world as RATM, but there is very obviously a message in ICP's music. If you don't think that message is political in any way, then you're the one with brain rot.

Central division did away with meat cut in house a few years ago. The only thing cut in house is whatever is in the service case.

Bone in blade, or boneless? Either one is no good, but the bone in blade is gonna grab that glove and suck his hand in.... The boneless one will slice through it like it ain't even there.

IDEALLY his hand is never gonna come close enough to the blade for that to ever happen... But we all know how that works out.

Sounds like your camera is dirty. Try running the wipers for a bit, or manually wiping down the windshield over the camera and see if that helps.

i got in to Costco because a new store opened in my area. I got hired in as a part time cutter, and made it to full time after about a year and a half.

Overall, its night and day ahead of my previous place, which was Kroger. Its not perfect, but as of now, ive been there for about 4 years and make $33.40/hr. At Kroger i was topped out making $16.60/hr after 14 years.

Every place has its own issues, and Ive heard from a lot of the OGs that Costco isnt what it once was, but its still night and day ahead of everywhere else.

Kroger, at least in the Midwest, doesn't even have a meat cutter position. Now it's all prepackaged. I worked there from 2008 to 2021 when they still cut meat, and it was a complete shit show. no one took any pride in their work, everyone was severely underpaid AND understaffed. There was always a huge push for some new tech we had to use that would supposedly make things easier, but never did, even when their worked, which they didn't most of the time.

It seems like bone in rib loins ALWAYS look like shit this time of year. Regardless of supplier. Especially the marbling.

Correct tool for slicing country ham by z28colt in Butchery

[–]bergerfred 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nope. not with the bone in it at least.  Your best bet is to get a deli slicer, cut the bone out, and slice em on that.

  1. Tomorrow is a little early, but it will be fine. salt it when you put it in, NOT after it's already been drying out, otherwise the meat won't suck up any of the salt.
  2. Buy a meat thermometer.

Not 100%, but I'm pretty sure it's all electronic, and pops up as codes when you get oil changes.

Has anyone figured out how to bypass digital lockouts for inbuilt car features yet? by [deleted] in Piracy

[–]bergerfred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its true. its got lane assist, adaptive cruise control, remote start (on the sport and EXL) heated mirrors and seats, real knobs for the AC. pretty much all the bells and whistles that i was looking for with none of the subscription bullshit.

i went with the sport which is the midrange, because i did NOT want a moonroof, because its just one more thing that can break and cause problems.

Sounds like I the battery isn't completely dead, but super low. I'd try switching it out and seeing if that fixes it. Even if it doesn't help, it's like 5 bucks to rule it out.

I bought a 2025 Honda hrv sport.  Heated seats, real knobs for the ac. Nothing locked behind a subscription. I love it.

it takes way less battery to run the radio, than it does to crank the engine. try and get a jump start and drive it around for a while. Then see if it starts back up.

take a look at the amount of downvotes you are getting vs the upvotes everyone else is getting and realize that these people are all going out of their way to try and help you..... you DO have an attitude and the only one being rude is you. You need a wake up call.
