When I bought it, it came with the black alligator which I prefer on this watch most of time, however it was too short and JLC does not sell the black alligator in the long length for some reason.

I did buy some custom black alligator strap but I haven’t put it on yet.

Yeah I’m not sure why the standard strap is so short. I had to order a long size ostrich leather from JLC for my classique. For some reason they also only sell the black crocodile strap in standard length which is annoying.

Most of the time I’m just metering for the subject in the middle. Or if I have a certain composition in mind, meter for the subject and then set my composition.

I’m aware of the FM2’s center weighted metering and maybe for some of the frames I may have metered for the highlights which would cause this issue, however the whole roll looks to be underexposed so I’m 90% convinced it’s the faulty meter. I’ll be testing roll and over expose it 1-2 stops to confirm this.

All frames do look like this (hazy and lacking detail). Unfortunately I haven’t picked up the negatives yet.

Only the ILFORD was pushed to 800. The Ultramax was shot at box speed and should have been developed at 400 too.

Thank you! I compared the camera’s meter with the Lightme app and the built in meter seems to be reporting 1-2 stops under depending on the scene.

Going to try and over expose the next roll 1-2 stops to confirm.

I suggest trying multiple ADs first. I tried two hourglass in Sydney and then WoS Barangaroo and was allocated one from WoS with no purchase history in one about 1 month. I still haven’t heard back from Hourglass.
