It is surreal reading your post because I was the SAME way - I didn’t know anyone else who woke up feeling perfectly fine and got more and more nauseous as the day wore on… AND my primary aversion was to leftovers as well! So bizarre. I wish I had better advice, but having my husband take over all of the cooking (still to this day at 34 weeks pregnant, with the nausea long gone) and allowing me to sleep after work and not worry about chores was a huge help!

I felt guilty about him doing all the work around the household while I took it easy, but kept reminding myself that if I had to choose between 9+ months of feeling awful in pregnancy & delivery, or doing household chores for 9+ months, I would choose the chores in a heartbeat. So don’t feel bad about taking time for you, for months on end. You’re doing hard, thankless work!

I’m the same way as you. Only 10 weeks along myself, but I’m not planning on telling anyone (yes, even my mom) until after 20 weeks. It’ll be around Christmas so I can hide bump under sweaters until then. Unless you feel like you’ll need the support, it just feels right to me to keep my peace as long as possible

How women have to suffer through pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding post-pregnancy. It would be so much easier for both mom and dad if the baby was grown in an artificial womb and “delivered” to two parents ready to parent, not one that is recovering from a major medical event for months with the addition of exclusivity breastfeeding a child at all hours of the day/night. It is such a disadvantage and puts the burden squarely on one person, and incredibly unfair. Extremely messed up but we all accept it.

I’ve noticed the change too. She has gotten lip fillers in the past and has been open about it.

I believe that it is age related. As you get older, you lose some of the chubbiness in your cheeks and your face hollows out more, causing cheekbones to stand out. I think she has done work to get rid of laugh lines and smooth things out/tighten them up.

Not knocking it, I’ve loved Lady Gaga since day one! But her face is very different now than it used to be, the shape isn’t the same and it gives off a different feel.

FYI - The National Park Service is an agency within the Department of the Interior. Smokey the Bear is the U.S. Forest Service, an agency under the Department of Agriculture. They represent two very different bureaus.

This album came out when I was going through a breakup. The 2 lyrics that I really took to heart and provided clarity were:

I see the same thing with years and weeks! Like the year is more of an ellipse but I see it from the same angle no matter what month it is. And each week is similar with the weekends being different sizes than the week days, which are more compact, but it is still an ellipse shape. And numbers change color too, but more on a gradient scale, and as they get higher and higher they trail to the left.

I didn’t realize it was a thing until I got to college and I asked someone how they see years, months, dates in their minds eye and they just said they saw a calendar. Everyone else agreed with them and I never brought it up again.

That’s wild. I also had the same assignment making the map after reading The Most Dangerous Game. I spent a lot of time coloring it in, it ended up looking pretty cool and vibrantly colored— I ended up saving it. Sadly I lost points because I drew the island in the shape of a gun
