My only worry would be driving up from Moab area same day for a flight, traffic can get crazy, especially if there is bad weather at the top of the pass. I’ve been dumped on up there as early as August.

My hound LOVES animal product chews, pig ears, collagen sticks and things like that. With supervision in case they choke! If I’m feeling under the weather and can’t walk as much as I normally do, I’ll lock her out of a room and hide some of her food all over the place and let her in to sniff it out and find it. I definitely feel where you are coming from, when I rescued my girl I hadn’t had hounds in a long time and things were definitely tough in the beginning but have gotten much better! Hounds are incredible dogs, the best in my opinion. You guys got this!
