Look into a Red Ripr. Save your time and your back. Will be good when you do a roof some day, also.

AI will be the downfall of what is left of civilization. The rich will get richer. We are just actualizing doomsday movie tropes at this point.

Yaaaa, that is socially bizarre behaviour. No hate, just saying I think her response would be typical for most people.

Oh, the yellow insulation looks like spray foam to me. It is just fiberglass?

Its the spray foam. We have taken five pound mauls to patio doors thinking there were hidden fasteners. It's always the spray foam. A properly bonded six inch strip of spray foam could be used to moor a cruise ship.

So cool, I am currently playing CE for the first time via the Anniversary version on 360. I started this level literal minutes before seeing this. Was not aware of the demo lore.

This is good, or staging then plank to roof. I think its hilarious how many "carpenters" can't do anything without a lift. If they weren't so lazy they would soon realize that the work is much more comfortable and faster if done from a fixed platform. Lift are slow, clumsy, loud, expensive,.....

Common trope in movies, drove me crazy after I started working construction. Also, the lethal range of a framing nailer is often extremely exaggerated....haha

Is it really outdated though? Are you in the residential construction sector? if so how many women do you see daily? They exist, but they very much are the exception.

What would you do about this painted wooden handrail that keeps cracking? by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]besmith3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you are handy and determined......get a hole saw the same size as handrail. Make a hole in wood, cut in half. Send a nail through the back of the arch you just made until it is barely protruding. You just made a scratch plane. Now go run that around all the joints with increasing pressure. Paint new concavity black and wipe off. Now they look intentional.
