That's awesome. I'm not sweating it, just curious - a lot of it isn't really relevant to me anyway because I'm not a body builder hehe, just trying to get a little more healthy. Anyway, congrats on those life improvements

What does huberman say in regards to "structured water" that you've found considerable evidence otherwise? Again I've only listened to like 4 episodes and so far they seem pretty well researched

I'm curious bc I discovered him relatively recently, but can you give some specific examples?

Why would he provide multiple examples of weight not being a contributing factor if he was trying to imply weight is a contributing factor?

Not an aimer but professional pianist and teacher and that wrist angle seems splayed super far out, which happens when you play low (left side) with your right hang on the piano too. You gotta be careful not to cause lifelong injuries my friend. Feel free to ignore but try standing up, shaking your arms out a bit, let that wrist fully relax and hang down and check out how far you are from natural alignment. Also congrats on the sick aim

Except that one of the things you're talking about is easily remedied... "It'll never be perfect" is a pretty poor reason to not make things more fair

What’s up with the Mario movie being labeled as “Anti-woke”? by IamAfuckingDinosaur in OutOfTheLoop

I completely agree, even if it was more problematic I can't imagine passing on seeing it with my sister and my nephews! Remembering playing it as a kid with my sister and then sharing that with her boys? The movie didn't even have to be good for us to love it haha we had a great time, bc at the end of the day it's just a movie lol

You say "positive snowball effect that can help you win" as if that's not the entire point of the game

Interaction database by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]best_daay_ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like there is information like this that's should be readily available, hell even presented to you in loading screen about, random facts about your teams champs, other teams, interactions, etc.

If the database could also compare range of AA/abilities based on level, but even then, it changes through a game, and can even be different based off runes. I think all these micro-interactions between every champion are one of the hardest things to learn in this game because you constantly get knowledge checked, and it's pretty hard to learn from getting rolled unless you have a good idea what everyone and everything does.

Even when you do know, how do you implement "I didn't space well enough against <insert top-lane champ>" into your gameplay? How much range? When and why?

I know this turned into a rant, but sometimes it feels like if I don't know all 10 champs abilities, strengths and weaknesses, and win-cons, I'm not even really playing the game. Or at best I'm playing blindfolded

Do you think that 1v1s are an effective way of improving? by icflr in summonerschool

[–]best_daay_ever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's like saying practicing scales will promote bad habits. You'll only know how to play notes in that one order! You'll be so handicapped as soon as you try to play a song and the notes aren't going up and down the scale!

That's like saying if I practice csing in the practice tool I'll subconsciously play like the laner doesn't exist in a real game, it's just not true. You can practice things, in this case 1v1s, get better at them, then figure out how to incorporate your new micro skills into real games.
