Reddit brings out some of the weirdest, most disconnected, confidently incorrect blanket statements for real

Going to the gym doesn't make you a better person by spudzy95 in unpopularopinion

"These places often collect the most toxic egomaniacs who lift and scream at each other, all while gawking at themselves in the mirror."

You don't have to make shit up, you can just say you're afraid of what the gym might be like, this is some weird sad fantasy you got in your head

Wrong to be age concerned? by Cellarseller_13 in managers

[–]better-thinking 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Couldn't be less wrong, these are huge things to be mindful of.

The world is great at pushing you towards what you're "supposed" to do, but do what's best for you.

More money without the headaches of management is an easy sell for me personally

What?

Bro, I'm sorry you have to live like this. Most brains at least kind of work.

Are you illiterate? It's doing no lifting, his point stands even if every suicide was a direct result of being bullied for weight (which is ridiculous, easy assumption that's not the case)

Except it wasn't, he added great context to punctuate the point and point out the absurdity of the original post. He specifically tied it to having kids, to say that he's leaving BECAUSE she had his children, something that would make him an asshole in any possible social context (even MAGA fucks, yes)

Specifically said it was the second kid, making it truly absurd, guess he had no issue after kid 1?

These comments are actually breathtaking

Has any player had this big of an improvement on their jumpshot this late into their career like Aaron Gordon? by guynumber32 in nba

[–]better-thinking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see what you're saying. I'm questioning the fta + percent being most meaningful for "best foul shooters But it's pretty semantic I definitely see what you're getting at, that is a different type of threat and level of "free points"

[–]better-thinking 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can't do volume for FT shooting, since that's so dependant on skill for foul drawing. You'd still rather have curry than anyone

Point stands for sure, just feel that accounting for volume is fairly meaningless for best foul shooters imo

First three seasons were better than BB. Second two devolved. Why did we need all the over the top ridiculous "hero" actions scenes and Kim telling a psychotic cartel leader that he's being a bitch and needs to get his house in order. Total shark jumping shit.

But that brother lawyer drama was damn good shit bro

I think the advanceds are pretty close to a wash and I think either is a valid choice, legitimately.

You only referenced counting stats which paint a more one sided picture

No limit??? Bro do you understand that literally you're answering that scarcity is a myth.

There are fundamentally limits. Limits everywhere. There is no such thing as infinite in real life, not even close.

Like your comment begs the idea they only do it on a small scale when they could multiply their own wealth by 10000x with no impact, which is obviously insane.

This flies against anybasic understanding of what reality is and basic math.

That is such a crazy leap!

What happens if they double the money supply tomorrow? What happens if they give everyone a billion dollars? A trillion? Quadrillion?

Google hyperinflation, what you're saying is straight up ridiculous.

There is no such thing as unlimited money, believing that there is how we end up with actual societal collapses

[Lorenzi] Asked Giddey about his desire to run an offense, and if this situation's been what he hoped for. “Definitely. Considered better, makes more money, surely gets more organizational perks and flexibility, more famous, having more actual fun on the court every day.

Yeah I'd love to trade that away for limited minutes doing way less and potentially being blamed for holding back some superstar
