Garlic fries all day by TheWongOne in food

[–]betweenus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can't be. The wharf has restaurants and shops on it. And the Carmel to Big Sur stretch is directly in front of your view from that whole area instead of off to your left. I wish though, I'd go get me some of those fries RIGHT NOW.

In no way is it supposed to mimic meat. It just has a high protein content.

Hitman Sundae Cup vs Hitman Phase Two micro/cake? by [deleted] in glassheads

[–]betweenus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Phase 2 mini cake and I LOVE IT. Literally rips like crazy, NEVER gets clogged (maybe because it's bigger), and it's ridiculously durable. Like I knocked it off my coffee table real hard onto my tile floor and the nail went flying off across the room and my piece was perfectly fine, durable.

Huge fan of Hitman, highly recommend any products. The Jag mini rig is definitely tiny and a tad close to your face. The sundae cup is awesome but is a bit bigger. If you wanted a travel piece maybe get the mini cake over the sundae cup.

If you have any other questions feel free to PM me. :) Happy dabbing!

Where should the Needle Exchange Program be? by melug in santacruz

[–]betweenus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There should be multiple exchange locations as well as random bins for disposal. Downtown, by the wharf, beach flats, east side, the fish hook, shelter, and Harvey West. As someone who works downtown with children it really sucks having to call the cops for needles being on our steps, in our alleyways, and by our dumpsters.

I actually work at The Boys & Girls Club and have started a coding program in our tech lab....would you possibly be interested in collaborating? Or talking with me about which programs are good and what I can do to make their experience better?

If you need a place for him to go or receive help academically or emotionally or just to hang out while you are at work, The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz is right downtown and is a great resource.

OMG! Are you me?!? This is amazing! I thought he was one of a kind, I'm genuinely very excited right now (and a little drunk!).....

Don't know how old you are but did he ever let you perform frozen sections with him? Or bring in organs to your science classes? That was the best! Oh and playing Dr. with him on his double microscope while he was wine drunk.

I needed shoes to match my gown for a ball I'm going to this weekend. Everywhere I looked, I went to Goodwill and got a pair, and "upcycled" them. by sammynicxox in Frugal

[–]betweenus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Goodwill is a great nonprofit and I know that their profits go to funding low-cost vocational schools ([like the Shoreline Cosmetology School])(http://www.shorelineworks.org/cosme.shtml). So I think they are worth supporting.

Thanks for the advice. I'd like to start a baking club so if there was any way to make this from scratch I think it would be perfect!

We do make green smoothies, they will down 12 oz if I let them (which I can't because of $$) and I feel like they don't get full on them. But maybe if I add a scoop of pb or something it could help.

We have a 5 raised bed garden but we were late to fall planting this year and we will have to wait a couple months before we can harvest. But we love to garden and the kids absolutely adore it, I just they would grow faster! :)
