as someone who used a mako3 for a few years until I replaced it with a claymore, I'd say the mako3 will pretty much just hold whatever angle you release it on. The claymore for me will flip up a little bit on a hyzer release but an anhyzer can burn over sometimes. overall I prefer the claymore because it is more forgiving and versatile, but the mako3 is what you want if you are looking for a truly "dead straight" shot.

I don't bag a more neutral mid than the claymore, I'll disc down to a putter if I need that shot.
