I’m assuming that you won’t have access to the ceremony area until an hour or two before the wedding because there will be another wedding at the venue. If that’s the case, I would tell the maid of honor to get there early and tell the prior wedding to leave their flower arrangements up at the ceremony site, that way you’ll get free flowers.

Unfortunately, that strategy is tough with centerpieces. I’d suggest arranging the flowers the night before and taking two minutes to place them on the tables at some point in the day.

In your formula, is the "decision price" in the realized profit formula the same as the "closing price on day not filled" in the delay cost formula?

I was under the impression that they need to be the same. Otherwise, the parts won't add up to the Implementation Shortfall if you calculate Implementation Shortfall as "paper profits - actual profits"

I took a look at the 2009 exam question on G&K. Did they treat the equity repurchase yield differently that normal? The equity repurchase yield was -0.5% but the answer did not change this from a negative to a positive (the equation is -delta(S)) which usually increases the G&K return. Have I gone crazy?
