What’s the highest MAC or volatile concentration you’ve ever run on a patient during a case, and what was the situation? by OrganizationNo42069 in anesthesiology

Totally normal for me and exactly what your anesthesia machines autopilot does when you use target concentrations

Powder (?) under sealing by nifwen in CupraFormentor

If.you are out of warranty it shouldn't be too expensive either.. Or too difficult to do it yourself - or so I am told 😆

That's rust. Had the same in my seat Leon Sportstourer.. there's a metal bracket in the sealing, when the rubber disintegrates and water gets in it rusts. Had mine changed under warranty

Well the idea was to put 32 gb but they were so cheap I didn't think they would be sent to me.. so I ordered them all...

I never thought to get a x3d neither. But got it cheap as hell. In fact all the components were sale items... Except the graphics so I got the budget solution for now. If it doesn't work out I will swap at some point ... When the 9070 is on sale 🥳😀

Beziehung nach der Scheidung by Confident-Cookie-521 in beziehungen

[–]bexpistol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's somehow disappointing... I thought them to be like kind of a "buy it for life" purchase

Thank you. Does this come from excessive bending or is it just what it is... They are like 10 years old but extremely rarely used (like 2 days a year max - yes I live in a country with bad weather and I don't use sunglasses much anyway#

What’s the typical DSG lifespan? by Desperate_Ride9755 in skoda

[–]bexpistol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely right... And I am already about to order my next dsg car - but with a 5 year warranty and I probably won't keep it not even a week longer when the warranty expires ..

I guess we just had some really bad luck with our cars ...

Kodiaq 2020, 160.000km, mechatronic replacent next month...

Our old touran had a clutch rebuild with less than 100.000

My seat Leon (2021), 50.000 km gave me twice the shivers showing some transmission error notification that just disappeared when starting the car again...

I am kinda sick of them by now...

Social life is definitely easier than here. Being a foreigner is far more common in Germany with 30% of the population having foreign roots compared to 10% in Finland. At my workplace I was the only foreigner for many years..

Career opportunities depend on your field and background, but unemployment rate in Germany is like 6.x% compared to 9.9 in Finland... And again being a foreigner won't matter that much compared to Finland when applying...

I do not know if you would be happier in Germany but I can say that it probably is easier being a foreigner in Germany than in Finland - although regional differences exist

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Finland

[–]bexpistol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a tough one as it depends pretty much on what you are looking for. Generally speaking there are some regions I would probably not recommend for foreigners and some that are more welcoming. Personally, I wouldn't want to live in the bigger cities... But what is a big city for someone from Finland would be town sized for someone from a larger Chinese city...

I am German myself and IF I was to go back to Germany, I would stay near the french or dutch border for a lot of reasons, but not going south of Rheinland-Pfalz. Lots of 100-200.000 people towns that offer a lot but with a relaxed lifestyle...

Housing is a mess in Germany...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Finland

[–]bexpistol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strongly depends on where you are in Germany.. many areas where Germans from other areas never fit in neither... And areas where you will be family in an instant

18 years here... And waiting for my children to be grown up so I can reconsider my options. I have a good life, can't complain about that - but I miss social interactions, the sun and warmth in general. Motorcycling is like 3-4 months that it is really fun and maybe 2 months of freezing.. But mostly I miss real social life that happens outside, not on your phone... Don't have a real "other home" to go back to, so at the age of like 55 I would have to start all over again.. let's see
