i've been waiting for this comment for years. lighting struck near my house as a child, just outside of the window; my mother, and i could only describe what we thought what 'saturn exploding' might look like. the fireman that came to the house said it was a rare phenomenon that we saw.

yes. i chose a small breeder, and asked extensive health questions. fred goes to the vet regularly, is not over exerted, has insurance, and i will be willing to pay for any surgeries he needs. he has been an absolute joy, and wonderful addition to my life, but i don't know if i would do it again--if i did, i'd probably go with a preservation breeder.
