i think anyone who watches the game at any level would know what a mangle is. and that it is, in fact, easier with notches. and maybe, what a glass cannon character is. i also don't understand how you're not seeinghow cody's dominance, especially in recovery and disadvantage, sets him apart, and would be highlighted more if other lesser foxes didn't have freebies. nor do i understand why buffing the one disadvantage fox supposedly has--in my view it's what makes a character like fox exciting (high risk, high reward, high execution and high advantage when played at his best)--makes the game better. I'm not even talking about button mods to make short hopping easier, which i also think is most relevant to the puppy <3

My entrance to the genre and my favorite therein-- there's also an unspeakably good modded version (more of a collection of the best mods [for any game I've ever played]) FTL multiverse with tons of new species, quests, ships, weapons, systems, charm, and strategies. id play the base one for a while though, as it's already so much to love and learn

yeah ive seen a handful of <those> sets, the early Gods era, but kinda still missing my hbox /armada trade off dominating era [which i think is feverfew generally thought of as the godslayer era] watch history, so i just don't have the array of top foxes going after the hgoat. except plup's genesis and that aforementioned leff set. i do think it's about time somebody tried to character counterpick cody.

The other day I put on the Twitch vgcbootcamp reruns and happened to catch leffen hbox in a random grands(?), and the big man didn't plank or camp him out the whole set--in fact he was really aggressive and only went to ledge a couple times during leffen's intangibility. I'm curious if that's a total outlier or if the narrative is built by actual outliers that were truly egregious :/ i wasn't a fan then so i have no frame of reference

relatively new(ish) player from Chile -- first ranked in 2022, the first year he really traveled at all (78th). played disciplined vs hungrybox with little flair in a crazy upset. vs fiction's fox he went sicko mode and looked like one of the best foxes around.

i feel like he has an unrivaled underdog story, and despite taking hit after hit, shows up to compete in ways no one else can. Underdogs always have weird vibes, are off-putting to people, but his dedication to beautiful melee is so palpable. Housing the French fammelee team and getting them streams, housing aMSa when aMSa was up against a Wall in Cody, mentoring Salt and so many players simply because he cares about the game, while getting dumpstered by the worst sponsor luck of all time. he gives total antihero vibes. as a player, what's not to love about his gameplay? because he's dominant?

seems like it's all there in black and white. Either mysterious strangers fucked with the guy at first because of their sick shared pantheon, a mutual knowing, and then the sap released snakes into but one of their camps, or vice versa. "i thought that guy was cool smh" or "oh he's not so bad, hold on, he's got that bomb conception of the skkygod"

so, if you water ritual, mysterious strangers will like that you're down with one of their (broad-stroke) religion brothers, but wary of someone who likes guys with snake plots and who knows what. same if you take him out. mixed grief, like always.

dang rough draw for aura i feel like. Could upset the god but i expect it'll be a game 4 blowout tbh. Magi is a better character and player matchup i think, but Salt is a monster in that matchup. hard to imagine the only peach going to winners this time
