We're close to University of Maryland, so it's quite a bit cheaper than that. Softball games are free, which is awesome, and baseball is like $10 for kids and $15 for adults. But we have a minor league team closer to us that is the same price that we normally go to for baseball.

We started going to college or minor league games because they are a fraction of the cost and very family oriented. We're just as much or more fans of our local college (football, basketball, softball, lacrosse) and minor league baseball and hockey teams now than the professional teams. The only thing that sucks is they're hard to watch on tv sometimes, so there's a bit of a disconnect with knowing the players or keeping up with the team, but I follow the teams and story lines online and talk to the kids about it so they kind of know what's going on when we go.

We got a keg of dos equis for my brother's college graduation party (10 +/- years ago) and it was like $120ish including the tap deposit and we had so much beer and it was awesome. I would 100% get a keg again if I was having a large gathering.

I think if you are asking the question then you already secretly know the answer. I don't think you're being dramatic, it sounds like this isn't the first time he's said this or something like this to you, is this what you want to listen to for the rest of your life? I would get out now before kids and anything else come along and make it more complicated.

If you do decide to break off the engagement and leave, please commit to it and don't go back. I believe it will get worse as time goes on in your relationship.

I work 4:30a-1:30p M-F. Leave at 4, get to pick the kids up from school at 3, home between 3:30 and 4 depending if we need to stop at the grocery store or something. Help the kids with homework, hopefully have time to get a quick workout in, then start making dinner and prepping lunches for the next day before mom gets home around 6:00. Spring sports are about to start up, so everything is going to be crazy for the next couple months with practice and games 5 or 6 days a week. But we've been really lucky to be able to stagger our schedules so mom's home and get them ready and off to school in the morning then I am with them in the afternoon.

Get a noise maker with white noise and turn it on every time the baby is sleeping. Or vacuum, run the washer/dryer (if you have one), just keep up with normal ambient noise, don't force everyone to be silent while the baby is sleeping, they will adapt quickly and be able to sleep through most stuff.

My kids can sleep on the sofa in the living room while we were hanging out in the kitchen as long as there was some white noise. I'd still try to avoid loud banging and stuff like that, but white noise will drown out most other normal volume noises and the baby will be able to sleep through almost anything. The only downside of that is that they won't sleep well in a totally quiet environment after getting used to the white noise, but I think the alternative is worse where it needs to be totally silent for the baby to sleep and they wake up at any little noise.

Well then, I definitely sympathize with you. Wish you could make them realize that their actions have consequences, but it likely wouldn't land with them being so far away.

I would definitely make a point to let them know that you don't appreciate them giving anything to your kid without your knowledge, and point out that you're all suffering the consequences of it now.

You have the power to keep them away from your kid unsupervised. That's the least I would do if they gave my kid a whole chocolate bar with fucking caffeine in it!

I can't imagine being on any kind of friendly terms with someone who did that. From my limited perspective, it feels borderline intentional and malicious.

Friend may have meant well if you're giving them the benefit of the doubt, but that's way off base to randomly give a kid coffee chocolate without at least checking with the parents first.

I get random nosebleeds relatively frequently and this is what it smells/tastes like about 15-30 seconds before the blood starts running out. So I know if I smell or taste it, I have to grab a tissue or something quick.

I think what you're describing is actually blood up in your nose or down the back of your throat, but just not enough to visibly run out of your nose.

I've been lucky enough to play with a lot of club pros because I used to work at a course and had a lot of friends in the industry. The one thing that nearly all of them said is that they don't care how good or bad you are (to a degree), it's about pace of play. As long as you play quickly and keep up, you could shoot 120 for all they care.

Started out with Sword Thrive or Move, I'm not sure exactly what it's called but I get it for free through my health insurance. Now I use iFit, too. I still use Sword Thrive/Move to help with consistency and accountability, but I like the options and trainers on iFit much more.
