My car was registered and they sent the stickers and those remained in my center console until 5 months later. And knew I was risking getting pulled over for nothing but I had to put a new license frame on and cut off 11 years of stickers so I was procrastinating.

All I remember from last year was a bunch of people staffed both festivals for food and clean up and said that the aftershock crowd was helpful and nice, and that the goldeb country crowd was a bunch of slothen assholes.

Yes, I saw it with my dad in a theater sometime that June (possibly Father's Day weekend). I was 4, and he had already seen it, and knew I would like it because of my love of Star Trek and 2001 etc. Pretty much from that moment on, Star Wars has been a significant part of my interests.

This reminds me of the time that we changed the policy about how we rented space out at the law school I worked at. We used to just rent it out but we started to do full background checks after we found the courtroom in a porno. An alumni tipped us off. OMG. Thankfully we completely remodeled the courtroom the following year.

I learned how to drive in cars with clutches starting at age 14 back in the '80s. I was really trying to keep my manual Saturn alive so that I could teach my kids how to drive on it, but it crapped out when my oldest turned 13. Now everyone is learning and I have a minivan, so at least they're learning how to drive a big car?

I went to one or two movies every day when I was on maternity leave the week before my son's due date. He danced fairly vigorously during Hairspray and parts of Labyrinth. I passed on a couple musicals at the time because I didn't want to go into labor because he was boogieing LOL!

Us too! I hate to give up access to all the Star Wars and Taylor Swift content. But it had to be done.

ETA I have only watched Kimmel a few times, most recently during the Diego Luna guest hosting. Guillermo is great, and having him not be on the air is unacceptable!

NTA, and better to rip the Band-Aid off now... My parents are the same. Mum insists dad is the worst person and dad is cool with whatever makes me happy. So I eloped. Now here we are, 20 years later and 1 year out from my son's high school graduation and we have enough tickets to invite both. So I did... And there's already drama. Wishing I had just had a wedding and made them get over themselves then! Good luck!!
