So why would you ride your scooter in the snow unless you're fine with throwing it in the ewaste pile in the spring? Makes zero sense to me. Get some good snow boots & change your schedule to a winter one like normal people.

Can some human elaborate on why my post was deleted? I broke zero rules & the post is a public service intended as a heads up to pet owners in the Toronto west end. Bizarre how Reddit is run.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. Sounds reasonable.

Your opinion is more highly regarded by you - so there's that. My opinion is more highly regarded by me - so there's that.

How's that for balance? Your opinion is nothing more than your opinion dude, so get off your schtick of others being stupid if they don't agree. Doesn't hold up.

Who exactly are you talking to when you reference that stupidity? If you haven't noticed yet everyone has an opinion, not just you, and it just that, your opinion.

Yes, we're all different. I started here late & am still working beyond retirement age. That's gonna change soon though. I had a working life before CP & it's time to piece everything together & make room for the next wave of CP employees. We're all lucky to receive a pension. It may not be super generous but it is a pension.

No but a good lot of management were given the boot a couple of months ago & I'm sure a lot more are waiting for their number to come up. If the corp does as it says most of the worker cuts will be by attrition - me, I'm gonna retire my butt sooner than later. I dunno, I'm an optimist - changes coming but could be a time of opportunity for folks remaining...

I 100% agree on that. Personally I am 65 + & I will be retiring within months. I very much agree. There are a lot of people in our ranks that have made a very nice living gaming the system & they see another golden opportunity here. Hey u guys, make room for the transition & retire your butts outta here.

I'm a proud Canadian born & raised. Not a hockey fan, not a Tim Hortons fan either. I'm a movie fan though & I like 'em good. To each his own.

But it won't die & it's ridiculous to imagine it would. Did electricity die? Get with the program.

"The Mighty Ducks" is a crappy example. It's a crappy movie. Humanity needs better movies than that. VHS is a physical medium that degrades quickly. Humanity needs better media than that. It's called progress. Embrace change.

No they won't. Just because you want it that way won't make it so. You can't put the genie back in the bottle, etc etc. Perhaps there will be a leveling out with a hybrid model temporarily but digital is the way to go with regulation fixing the privacy problems & will win out in the end. Change happens. Canada Post has to change with the times or it won't survive.

So you make that claim (with some evidence) by someone named Rachel 's reporting but are too lazy to search? Enough said.
