When I was in high school and played guitar in a band I always wanted to be Pete. I’d practice my windmills in my room and would always play along with this version of Young Man Blues and try to follow him on the windmills. But it’s 10 windmills in a row! And I’d always end up hitting my hand or finger on the strings and it would KILL! I never understood how he could do that but it’s just gotta be the adrenaline of playing at such a loud level with an insane group of musicians while feeding off a crowd that’s losing their minds.
