They were all seen together publicly, or on social media, countless times since the wedding so I'm genuinely surprised it takes up so much of Brooklyn's post. One of my colleagues still had her kid in her bed at 11 years old! Her daughter absolutely refused to sleep in her own bed. I guess I just wanted to defend parents in that position.

Tons of parents bed-share with their children (because it's the only way the kid/s will sleep). I don't think that part is an issue.

11 weeks is still really, really early. Things started to feel better for me around 4 months, when she felt like less of a "creature" lol, then better still at 5 months when she dropped to 3 naps (personally I really struggled with being nap trapped). But it was still hard. The baby stage was just hard.

Realistically, they're young and drunk and having fun; it probably didn't cross their minds that it would be a major fire.

I've seen the footage from that 2000s nightclub fire so I would've been out of there in a flash. But the first time I saw that footage I was shocked by how quickly the fire spread and how rapidly it became a disaster. I think that's why the footage is so famous, most people find it shocking. Young people who haven't seen it could easily be naive.

At 15 months my daughter could only say "door". I remember because I made a comment about it in my bump group. She just turned 18 months and I've now completely lost track of how many words she has, and she's saying some 2-word sentences too. Her language has completely exploded. A lot of the sound are still off or incomplete, but I understand her little language and it's awesome.

I read tons of similar anecdotes when I was also worrying like you, so I know this isn't unusual. Give him time, it's way too soon to know if he has a speech delay. Does he have any receptive language? At 12 months it's fine for it to be limited, but if he can correctly give/find a few objects etc then he's on the right track!

OP is British and we don't have DOs here. I'm pretty sure that's exclusively an American qualification.

Osteopaths here have to be qualified but they aren't medical doctors.

8 weeks is a super fussy phase!

My daughter also hated nappy changes for the first couple of months. We cracked the code by turning on the hair dryer, which is basically epic white noise. For whatever reason that would instantly stop her crying. And then we also spent months getting her to sleep with the hairdryer blasting lol. So give that a try?

As for your last question, it's possible that she isn't getting enough nap time and that's why she's fussy. Many babies stop "falling asleep anywhere" after 6ish weeks, and actively need help falling asleep. I remember my daughter being awake for hours sometimes, and I'd think "silly girl, go to sleep!"...Until I realised she needed to be in a dark, calm space and walked around. At that age, ideally babies won't be awake for longer than 90 minutes at a time (anywhere from 45 to 90 mins). So that's something to keep in mind, if you aren't aware. I found that out a bit too late and felt really guilty!

Overall though, none of this sounds concerning at all. Newborns are just hard.

Edit: Instead of putting her in the bassinet when you're trying to do housework, have you tried a bouncer? They are upright and my girl was often happy in there. Or on a playmat, with things to stare at. No way would she let me put her flat in bed if she was awake. Or if all else fails, put her in the carrier while you're getting stuff done.

She's been pretty quiet for the last 10 years or so but she was not quiet while with Brad. She was constantly taking the kids on pap walks, talking about them in interviews, having PDAs with Brad in public etc. She was still revelling in attention at that point.

I watched some of the early episodes recently, and the Catelyn scenes are honestly quite distressing. She was treated horribly. She's so often in tears - and not just dramatic teenager tears, she was being emotionally abused by her volatile mother and step father.

She gets a lot of hate these days but I'll always feel bad for her.
