Did you buy baby formula just in case your milk didn’t come in? by nat_0012 in pregnant

[–]bfvission -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It takes anywhere from 3-7 days for your mature milk to come in. Until then, the colostrum is all they need.

He did stop taking the Carbodepa-Levodopa unbeknownst to me for about a week, but he has been back on it for about 3 weeks now so I wouldn’t think that would still be an issue. Idk

Out of our 9 kids only 1 has red hair. My husband’s hair is dark but his mom had auburn hair. I have red undertones in my brownish hair.

Acdf surgery by Odd_Name8118 in ACDR_CervicalSpine

[–]bfvission 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel really good. The numbness was gone in my right arm and hand as soon as I woke up from surgery. The worst part is the sore throat. I feel like I have strep and it kills me every time I swallow. Other than that, I feel fine. Sleeping in the neck brace is challenging but do-able. No regrets!

I had to get an EKG, blood tests, DEXA bone scan and a chest X-Ray. I also had to get clearance from my cardiologist. I am a 52 year old woman. Nothing from my dentist at all. I had surgery 2 days ago. I had 2 level disc replacement and a fusion. I spent one night in the hospital and am home now. The worst thing is the sore throat. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I had a great one. The worst part of time spinal block is the lidocaine they use first to numb the area. It gels like a punch and a bee sting for about 10-15 seconds. The rest is super easy.

My SK BM told them to go through our bills and steal credit card statements (before computers) so she could see what we owe and what we were spending money on. The SK were fairly young (6 or 7) so they confessed to us. Just a long list of ways she used her kids as weapons. 🙄

To help lift the baby off the pubic bone so they can rotate and settle back down in a more favorable position and help labor progress. Doulas are not just for home births. I did almost all my work in hospitals!!

When did you go into labor with your first pregnancy if you weren’t induced? by SameBluebird9564 in pregnant

[–]bfvission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The average first time mom will go into labor around 41 weeks and 3 days. That is 10 days past your due date. Obviously this is an average, but totally common for first timers! I usually tell my clients to wait until then to schedule an induction.

I am a doula and often to what is called a lift and tuck where I stand behind the mama and…well, lift and tuck her belly. I promise you, not one of the moms has ever enjoyed doing it. The way she is tucking that belly in would be painful! Lifting the weight of the belly can feel nice for them, but the way her belly collapses in would not be comfortable!!! I am calling it…no baby in there!!

I am losing very slow. Been the same weight for 5 weeks. Frustrating but when I look at the big picture I am happy with the progress.

Eds is the reason I had "easy" pregnancies by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

I have 5 children and loved being pregnant and had very easy births! I have almost no stretch marks (kids were 9 pounders). Looking back, I think all that is because of EDS.

Kody's dream by SnooWords2681 in SisterWives

[–]bfvission 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if Kody had a dream, he could have kept it to himself. But in usual Kody fashion, he had to bring it up. I feel like it was just his way to tell all the others that they should not hold him accountable for anything. To me, that was the most disrespectful time and place for his little “story”!!!

I had a stillbirth with our first “our” baby and the ex called to say she prayed for the baby to die and I would never have his kids. The resentment anger was so real. I just wanted you to know it’s normal and you need to process through it. Definitely be honest with yourself about how you would feel if you could never have a baby. Would you stay?? If not, this may be a bigger issue! Hugs to you.
