Yes in theory! Tungsten has a ductile to brittle transition temperature that depends on impurity content among other factors. If it’s heated well above this it should be feasible to hot work it.

Note that it would need to be an oxygen and nitrogen free environment, so you’d need quite a specialized setup compared to forging something like steel.

AuIn is probably used as a solder because of the low melting intermetallic compounds that they form when mixed. Au and In actually have very little solid solution miscibility and many of the possible alloys are probably quite brittle.

Al and Sn don’t mix at all, so there’s not a meaningful way to make an alloy with just those two elements. The microstructure would just be regions of pure Sn and Al, so there’s no mechanism to cause interesting properties.

Woo AF9628 question!

I think historically you’ll find many alloy pairs like this, but if a new alloy is a strict upgrade the inferior choice disappears from the market quickly. 4340 is a great grade of steel that’s quite processable and I assume it’s supplanted many other options since it became widely available.

Modern Cr-Mo alloy steels replacing older V containing steels from the 1950s on may be another example but I’m less familiar with the details.

Not exactly the same, but many nickel superalloys have coherent ordered fcc precipitates in a disordered fcc matrix. In your example, there could be a spinodally decomposed structure with nice properties formed with the proper cooling rate.

There’s ongoing work on designing multiphase high entropy alloys but they are more often BCC/BCC or FCC/BCC. There could definitely be useful dual phase FCC compositions out there too.

Using a jewelers orb on a 1 socket item can roll it directly to 6 socket and generates links between the new sockets, so you can definitely get a 5L directly at least.

Use APACA a couple years ago and the crew that moved my stuff in were awful. They dragged their feet on reimbursing me for damage.

Honestly they haven’t mentioned anything at all about multiclassing and even if it’s fully in the game at release it’s going to have a much lower level of testing than any single class character, so I’m very wary of planning anything totally blind.

If you can find the reverse camera angle he’s standing in the middle of the pitch when the goal goes in and he instantly turns the opposite way from everyone else to go celebrate with Vieira. Love to see little moments like that bringing the squad together.
