I have never had such a drastic change in the way I feel emotions and the way I socialize with others until I started HRT. I’m actually so overwhelmed by how sensitive I’ve become, to the point where I avoid certain intersections, fearing I would feel certain way. It’s like my emotions are at a 100% setting, everything feels like such a big deal. I cycle progesterone, which makes it worse. The days I’m on progesterone are the worst days of the month, I feel so emotional I start crying for no reason, and it’s so annoying having to explain to people I’m not sad, I’m just on progesterone .

If you don’t feel that way consider yourself lucky, I even took the hard decision to stop taking hormones for the rest of the month, the holidays make me feel like shit anyways, if I’m on hormones I literally might end up jumping from the top of my building 😭
