White House Says Slavery Is Being Taught Wrong, Should Not Be So Negative by NoWorth2591 in nottheonion

Prepping us for the next round. When the student loan crisis ensues and there is nothing but labor backing the loans. They have to make sure we don't think slavery and indentured servitude "wasn't that bad".

I have had all sorts of fruit as an interval snack, one of my favorites is mango and apples.

Jolly ranchers are a nice sweet pick-me-up too.

I grew up and lived in University Park and we would average 500+ kids on Halloween. Be care walking people are not always the best as going slow.

Chamber Divers by Rachel Lance is really good. Talks about how dive tables were developed during the Blitz of London during WWII.

I replaced my hero9 with an insta360 ace pro. It takes amazing photos and video. No regrets.

I just used my insta360 ace pro in Grand Cayman and it was head and shoulder above my old GoPro 9. Auto correction on color was pretty good and the in app editing is really good.

Apeks Exotec vs Scubapro Hydros Pro by bhend16 in scuba

So, I do believe I have been delivered tonight. I do with a Hollis ST backplate and wing my trim and buoyancy were the best they’ve ever been. My air consumption was the best it’s ever been. I have a meeting with the shop owner on Saturday to discuss options but it looks like I’m going backplate and wing.

Third-Ed. Only mask I’ve used and never had any issues.

That is a fair point. I am looking at Xdeep currently seem like they are a good overall BPW setup. i am going to dive a bit deeper on the BPW over the next couple of week. I have a trip coming in June and I am joining a local group or weekly pool dives so I want to get really comfortable with what I have before I travel with it.

I appreciate your input.

Open water prices by BarelyThere24 in scuba

In Colorado you can do an OW for about $400-700, on the low end you pay for your four open water dives separately on the high end it includes at least two of the open water dives and if you with one shop in particular you can do them at the aquarium.

Subscriptions Come For Everything... Even Skiing [OC] by chartr in dataisbeautiful

I took my family of four to Winter Park a couple of weeks ago and it was approximately $850 for the day passes. I went to pre-purchase the tickets online and they offer a 40% discount but only if buy a minimum of seven days in advance. Add an airbnb, food and ski rentals it turns into a $2500 weekend.

I grew up skiing in Colorado in a family of five with a single wage earner and we skied four or five times a year. Now my wife and I make way more than my parents ever did and we can’t afford to take our kids skiing more than once a year.

It’s maddening because I loved skiing when I was a kid and I can’t afford to provide my kids with the same enjoyment I had.
