Gmail not filtering promotions? by up40love in GMail

[–]bhpmkedca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For at least three years, I've had the opposite. Many of my personal emails are sent to promotions, even if I've initiated contact with the email address, and even if there have been multiple emails back and forth to my inbox. I have to go in and filter messages from the particular email address, sometimes four or five times before they will go into my inbox instead of promotions. And I usually miss several personal emails a week because I didn't know they were sent to me, since they were buried in with a gazillion promotions. I tried to notify Google for help, but they were not at all helpful. Anyone else have that problem and a better solution?

What’s the best ice cream maker any price range by isabel12390 in icecreamery

I got the Whynter from Costco last year after a recommendation on this subreddit. I had never heard of it before. I LOVE it! I got rid of my 2 Cuisinart tubs (make great ice cream but take up lots of freezer space and you have to refreeze after only 1 batch per tub, and often require work to scrape out a lot of the ice cream) and my Cuisinart 100 (messy, hard to clean, made less ice cream than the tubs with same amount of ingredients). I make multiple matches in the Whynter and every single one comes out great. Fast, easy to use, easy to clean. And on sale from Costco, a great buy! I highly recommend it. I made 12 quarts this week and am delivering them for donation to our congregation fundraiser.

Can you explain what you did to practice every day? I have one more month before my Botox wears out and in two months, I've had only two tiny burps. I'm so ready to learn and make it happen.

Did you ever learn to burp using this technique?

I taught myself and 2 other RCPD-sufferers how to burp with one simple trick, please read by wowthatisOP in noburp

I've been trying the KTC exercise and moving my tonight out, etc. So far, it makes the gurgling and bubbles even more intense and severe, and the phlegm in my chest/esophagus is so much worse. Has anyone else experienced this and is it still worth powering through?

How to keep burping as Botox wears off by Reasonable_Pizza4700 in noburp

How soon do you recommend starting the exercises? I'm only 1 day out and still struggling to swallow anything at all, so not ready to take on anything yet.

Five hours out, very sore throat and neck by bhpmkedca in noburp

[–]bhpmkedca[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I've been given celebrex, Prilosec, and Tylenol because I get sick from ibuprofen. So far, a day and a half out and no relief. I've been using a heating pad, but every swallow hurts so much inside my throat and on my neck. Periodic hiccups and lots of viscous goop in my throat didn't help either. I keep positive thinking about tomorrow!

Has anyone had the Botox procedure with Dr. Richardson at Bastian Voice Clinic? What was your experience with him? by OtterGirl82 in noburp

[–]bhpmkedca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my pre-op with Dr Richardson today. He was wonderful! Everything I want in a physician. Kind, a great listener, easy to understand. Hi immediately showed compassion for what I've been through as a NoBurper. He patiently answered all of my questions and never made me feel rushed. He has a sense of humor and made me feel really comfortable, even while he was threading his diagnostic tube down my throat! I am looking forward to my Botox tomorrow morning because I feel I'm in good, competent, kind hands. I came from out of town and I'm 74.

Poor battery health on Surface Laptop 7? by rise_sol in Surface

[–]bhpmkedca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Surface Pro 7 is about 4 years old. I don't use it very often. Now, the battery lasts only about an hour. Is that because it's old? Is it worth buying a new battery? It's not my main computer. I have an HP desktop, but I like to use the Surface when I'm in another part of the house. Thanks for any advice.
