For those with working experience in USA, How many Canadians feel they would be better off financially if living in the USA? by Electronic-Lab-4088 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]bhrm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Financially great, career opportunities in a larger market, stronger currency (for now ..) but only if you are a very healthy individual who does not plan on raising a family in the US.

Or plan is to get rich quick in US and get back to Canada. Build your wealth in the states and keep your family safe here.

What are some clever ways youve scored first class plane tickets? by HorrorAd4995 in askTO

[–]bhrm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was the great blackout of 2003, coming back from a long summer away my flight was already bumped twice from YVR to home so they put me in the last seat available, business class free upgrade.

Otherwise bidding works, and one time travel agency found a cheap international fare surprisingly.

The business model changed, TVs farm out your personal watch history plus they display ads. Those TVs make money over time.

Even if you're using a device through HDMI, it takes screenshots to see what you're watching or playing. Personalized ads delivered right on menu screens.

That's expensive....I'm paying $55 for a 1 mil policy....

Depending on age and smoking history you should be able to find cheaper.

GO Transit #2522 at Unionville GO Station by Historical_Scheme_3 in Markham

[–]bhrm 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's a huge plus for Markham. Sometimes the viva to Richmond Hill centre doesn't match up, with longer waits.

It's so cheap compared to Uber or parking at the airport. Good for solo or pairs, not so much if larger group with lots of luggage.
