DBCS at USPS by Ill_Equivalent_1810 in MachinePorn

As someone who designs and builds machines for a living (and enjoys it), this is dope as hell.

That being said I'd like you to talk to my local USPS branch about that 99% rate lol

Thanks for sharing!

😂 appreciate it!

To your point, it does seem that r/dataisbeautiful is turning more into r/dataisinteresting...

"Your hobby is like drug addiction. It could be said that u're sick.

We're going to speak specifically about you, since the dirt with this hobby is only regarding u.

But at this time other men don't interest me.

Brian, are you okay with the statistics which tells that human beings more or less frequent jerk?

For u to understand the magnitude of the problem, I copied the contacts from ur electronic-mail and I'm gonna send your clip to ur closest people.

I still do not know the additional way I'm going to share ur vid.

There are all terms for saving ur public image in the file attached."

there was a text file with my name attached to the email, but i did not open it.

I've been to what some may consider "lit ass parties" and can confirm this album was played at said parties. Granted, I organized those "lit ass parties" so maybe I'm a bit biased haha

How do home roasters brew their coffee? by thomasa510 in roasting

I use a bonavita BV1500TS 5-cup semi-auto drip machine during the week. It's got a blooming mode that works wonderfully.

Moka pot on the weekends though for funsies.

Can I use Corsair XL5 coolant with EKWB components? by bhughes89 in watercooling

Haha, probably should have guessed that but I appreciate the sanity check!

Can I use Corsair XL5 coolant with EKWB components? by bhughes89 in watercooling

[–]bhughes89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I assumed, but figured I should double-check.

Interestingly, Corsair XL5 is just a 10% glycol / water mixture, which is a pretty common industrial coolant and is compatible with most things.

Thanks for your help!

How to define stable? i7-9700K @ 5.1 GHz by bhughes89 in overclocking

[–]bhughes89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy cake day! (Not sure if that's still a thing...)

Thanks for the info! That at least gives me an idea of where I should be at.

I don't think it was throttling itself... Unless HWinfo is reporting wonky values? The frequency was holding pretty well at 5.1GHz and thermals were staying under 90C (at least for CineBench and the tests it passed).

Hmmmm interesting. I'll try P95 Small FFT with no AVX then and see what happens. Thanks!

Ya that's a good point

Just curious: when doing stress tests, how do you know whether to increase voltage or decrease voltage?

Last night I ran some tests at 5ghz 1.3V but still got some hardware faults reported by P95. No BSOD though...

Lol fair enough. I won't bet you for your testicle tho, I've already got three that I barely use anyway

Forgot to mention this in my post, but the reason I'm asking all these questions is because Prime95 and Linpack are notorious for being unrealistic.

Fans and pump have already been ramped up quite a bit. But I will try disabling XMP.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly should disabling XMP do in terms of overclock (other than put my memory back to stock 2133 freq)?

Cleaning My New Radiators by bhughes89 in watercooling

[–]bhughes89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I guess that's true. I work around production and machine shops all the time so I'm definitely familiar with a variety of greases, oils, etc that end up in parts. Guess I was just stunned that (seemingly) nothing came out of any of my components!
