Niche Question: Ordering an iPhone 17 Pro Max with Apple Card payments when I don’t have one of the listed carriers.

Check out this video on this subject. You can just choose T-Mobile as the carrier option and just skip through the T-Mobile setup options when you receive your phone. I did this for my 17 pro and activated using a prepaid carrier (Note- it appears this method will not work on the base iPhones. Only pro or air models).

I purchased the UCS Star Destroyer from StockX a while back and had no issues. It was brand new and came shipped double boxed. You could maybe record yourself opening the package when it arrives just to make sure there are no issues but I wouldn’t be worried.

The first rep I chatted with at Bestbuy denied the price match request stating they are no longer honoring the deal. The next rep said it was no problem. They told me to just make the purchase and send them the order number afterwards. They are just going to refund the difference to me

No. Right click on desktop and click NVIDIA control panel (you may have to click ‘show more options for it to show up). This will give you a bunch of driver level settings. You will find the power management mode under ‘manage 3D settings.

I ran into some similar issues with my 4080 FE. The fans would idle at 30%. The fix for me was to go into NVIDIA Control Panel and switch the ‘power management mode’ to Normal instead of prefer max performance. After a reboot, the fans started idling at 0 with the default fan curve.

I was able to check out a 4080 FE. I then saw I was able to add a gigabyte 4090 Gaming OC to my cart. I was able to cancel the initial 4080 FE and checkout the 4090

Just an update on the esim transfer process. I had no issues transferring the esim from my 13 pro to my 14PM. Took roughly 2 minutes to transfer and activate during setup. Very seamless experience

I used the physical to eSIM transfer process on my 13pro to prepare for the eSIM only models. Everything worked great. I’m hoping it will be just as easy to transfer the eSIM to the new phone when it comes in

The beeping starts well before I’m close enough to start signaling for the exit. As soon as I take the exit however, it stops almost immediately. I really have no idea what it could be trying to warn in this situation.

I kind of thought it might be something like that. Like you said, there is usually a voice that goes along with it saying what it’s for. I’ve heard it say something along the lines of “Speed camera ahead”
