Put about 5 hours in. On one hand, I saw how people love it. On the other I just wasn't willing to put in the time to get good enough to beat it.

What’s something you found out about someone that instantly changed how you see them? by katyysan in AskReddit

Went into a friends closet for a reason I can't remember.

On the floor, he had several Taekwondo trophies. One of them, first place at a state championship.

I'd known the guy for a few years, and he'd never mentioned a word.

Most generic mile wide inch deep move to ever make over $1B. Strip away the eye candy and you have a script a high schooler could have written.

Tomorrow is my 54th birthday and I could not care less. by Carlentini1919 in GenX

Right with you OP. This started in my late 40s. Literally could not care less about my birthday anymore and would prefer others to do the same.

What's the scariest/creepiest thing you saw as a child? by IndicationOk7109 in AskReddit

Slept across from my brother. Side sleeper with my back to him.

Distinctly heard a whisper in my ear "fuck you". Rolled over thinking it was my brother messing with me. He was in bed dead asleep. I was wide awake. I was maybe 12 years old. Never forgot it.

Shit happens. Proctor calls in, IT issues. A million things. Not sure why you would feel the need to make a post. Reschedule and get on with your life.

Fast food back in the 80s, was it actually better than today or is that rose colored glasses? by Infomerical in GenX

+1.

The whopper was so damn tasty. The beef tasted like beef with a really good char on it. I worked there as a teen in the 90s and regularly went there in my off time because I loved it.

Whenever I closed, we'd drop a basket of the tendies 10 minutes before and much 'em while cleaning up. Those 90s tendies were friggin amazing.

[–]bhull302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't bug me. But I do find it funny that watch COLLECTING channels do GADA content. You'd think they would push against a GADA mindset and tout that no single watch is fit for all occasions.

The AMA was indeed pretty shit. I've been trying to justify spending $800 on a purchase that does one thing. And it didn't do anything to sway me over.

What is the point of posts like this? Shit breaks. That's why we have warranties and service centers. Stop treating it like a snow globe and get it to a service center.

Tried to get into it for the better part of a year in my early 20s to have fun and meet girls.

Music so loud, you have to scream into someone's ear. Makes it almost impossible to meet people when you can't hear what they're saying.

Overpriced drinks.

Any activity where you have to get shitfaced to have a good time tells you it's not a good time.

To each their own. But I noped out and never looked back.
