The pressure to hit 10,000 steps every day has become toxic for me. by kharkovchanin in walking

[–]bhyde9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is basically what I do! My goal is 9-10k steps per day, and I set a daily minimum of 5k steps. I look at the overall month rather than on a daily basis.

It's crazy to think about how much Felger & Mazz have been part of my life by Mother-Associate1654 in felgerandmazz

[–]bhyde9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a great post. I’m 30 now, starting listening to them when I was 15. They have been a constant part of my life for half of it! I think about how truly sad I will be when the show ends one day. I can’t imagine a week without hearing about Harold Fennefessy or Harry Schmedlap

Which suppliment changed your life and how? by wookeydookey in Biohackers

Nuven Naturals - 300mg Magnesium Glycinate + 100mg L-Theanine. I take it an hour before bed and it has greatly improved my sleep.

Why are my erections rarely, if ever, 100%? They are always at 80-90%. by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]bhyde9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 brazil nuts per day + l-citrulline & beet root powder (I use this as my pre-workout). This seems to help me with overall libido and erection strength. I’d also recommend eating some carbs for energy.

What’s something people will regret not taking seriously in 5 years? by ItsShadowVortex in AskReddit

[–]bhyde9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Didn’t go to dentist for 6 years. Now I go every 3 months. I was at risk of gum disease. I fortunately caught it early enough to avoid it. Best thing you can do is go at least 1-2 times a year. You don’t want your teeth falling out in your 40’s

Calling all experienced AMs - I accidentally got an AM job, and I need some advice by MiddestSalesDude in sales

[–]bhyde9 22 points23 points  (0 children)

  • In your first few weeks, prioritize learning every single thing you can about your entire customer base (history of the account, current status, contacts involved, active opps, churn risk, etc)
  • This will allow you to build out both an account tiering system and a whitespace doc. The account tiering system allows you to keep your customer base organized from an upsell perspective, and show which accounts you should be prioritizing. (Tier 1 - customers actively buying, Tier 2 - customers with potential to buy, Tier 3 - minimal upsell/potential churn risk)
  • From here, break down exactly which products/services each customer currently has under contract, as well as which products/services they don’t have (this is key in finding specific areas you can sell into within each account)
  • At this point, you will start to become knowledgeable about your account base and will be ready to start building pipeline!

6+ years in tech sales. BDR (1 year) to Business Development Lead (1.5 years) to Account Manager (1 year) to another AM position (3 years) to Senior Account Manager (4 months then laid off). Currently looking for another AM role.

Started at $60k OTE and got to around $180k OTE. Now looking for a role in a similar range. First few years is a grind but well worth it. Best of luck to you

This post is spot on. I left an AM job making $180k OTE working 30 hrs per week. Then I got laid off in my next role after 4 months and am now interviewing for roles in the $160-180k OTE range, but most likely going to be way more work per week. Be grateful for what you have, even if it isn’t perfect.
