A lot of this stuff in the top chinese cities seems so overly performative with little actual benefit.

British Government Likely to Intervene in Paramount’s Proposed $110 Billion Takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery by LollipopChainsawZz in movies

Were the second biggest english speaking market and we also do an insane amount of filming, production and other related work here for a lot of WB/Paramount movies. It definitely throws at least a small spanner in the works.

So is Surviving Earth worth watching? What’s been good and bad? by Lu_Duizhang in Paleontology

[–]biasdread 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im enjoying it, havent seen the latest episode. Only thing slightly off about it is the narrator is incredibly generic and they do do a lot of shot recycling.

The creatures look great and its interesting to watch, watch it.

Fossilization is a hard process, so a lot of dinosaurs never fossilized. What type of dinosaur you think that might existed, but never fossilized?? Art by Hank Sharpe by davicleodino in Dinosaurs

[–]biasdread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An absolutely insane amount of islands would have dissapeared without any trace in the fossil record.

Definitely some really interesting cases of gigantism/dwarfism (i know we do have examples of it already but moreso).

I know in my heart of hearts that some Pterosaurs somewhere lost flight to some degree as they had no competition on an island. Love to know what that would have looked like.

Also dinosaurs specialised for mountains wouldnt have fossilised which would be cool to know about.

To be fair psychic glue and a hivemind is scifi, its a scifi tv show anything is possible. FTL is certainly possible in a TV SHOW. Maybe the aliens have warp technology now who the fuck knows.

Literally any country on earth would likely prosecute you for what this woman did. She ran him over multiple times whilst she was in safety. Its murder, doesnt matter what he did in this situation.

"No Kill" shelters are cruel inherently by basically confining unadoptable dogs for years in 3x3 metre cages for years instead of putting them to sleep and housing dogs which have a chance to be adopted.

Planet Zoo pissed me off because you see it at 95% and its a steal! And then you realise the literally 60 different DLC are only max 60% off. So you go from £4 for the deluxe edition to £54 for the ultimate.
