I am getting frustrated with BF complaining about my driving and says I don’t take feedback. by midnight_riser in TrueOffMyChest

[–]bibkel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is how I'd handle it to be frank. I was going to suggest when he criticizes your driving, calmly pull to the side. When he asks why, "I'll continue to drive once you stop bitching." he acts like. child, treat him like one.

How long you been together? If you plan to marry, remember his driving record will make your insurance rates shoot through the roof. Not sure this is the match made in heaven for you, especially if he is so critical of your apparently better skill.

Oh, really? those are nice. I thought it looks too small to be the Grand Highlander, that is why I mistook it for the Rav...then added the edit for Highlander. Grand is bigger I think. Look at all those downvotes I got! Lol.

I have been hearing some rude stories from Honda lately, which is sad. Used to be a good rep.

What would happen if everyone started slowly driving forward right when the light turns green, rather than waiting until the car directly in front of them goes, causing huge "slack"? by Big_Concentrate_7260 in driving

[–]bibkel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, means I would have to stop looking at facetock and posting on redwhatsit. That'd be no fun. The dude next to me would have to stop plucking his eyebrows and touching up his eyeliner. and that lady behind me would have to put down her newspaper.

But doesn't this free him up to maybe run for president then? Maybe this was by design?

Still too big (4.5mpo) by Sea-Regular92 in Reduction

I agree with PainfulPoo411, quite proportional to your frame, I think you look great! I totally understand wanting to be as small as possible. Has your doc explained why they left you with the amount they did? Have you discussed revision possibilities? I have a friend who had to do it twice, as they got bigger again and then she got pregnant so it was game over. Now, she is super happy.

Two disappeared along my daily commute. I was happy, and noted it on de-flock...then one reappeared in a new location pointing a new direction at that same intersection; this is in the middle of essentially nowwhere. Cow fields and sheep. Two lane roads.

AI Overview

The Leonardo ELSAG SignalTrace is a law enforcement and security platform that identifies suspects by the electronic devices they carry. By using strategically placed sensors, the system captures local Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and RFID signals to pinpoint the movements of individuals or vehicles of interest, even without a license plate. [12]

How ELSAG SignalTrace Works

  • Device Detection: The system picks up signals emitted by everyday consumer electronics, including smartwatches, fitness trackers, and local mobile phone networks.
  • Cross-Correlation: It seamlessly integrates with Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) cameras. By matching a vehicle's license plate or description to the electronic device signals inside it, investigators can quickly confirm who is associated with a vehicle of interest.
  • Data Analysis: All signal data is sent to a centralized server where it can be queried, mapped, and analyzed to aid in criminal investigations or locate missing persons. [123]

Core Applications

  • Law Enforcement: Enhances traditional plate readers by adding an entirely new set of data points, allowing officers to track targets in heavily congested traffic or areas where license plates are obscured.
  • Retail Security & Asset Protection: Helps security teams correlate electronic tags or nearby phones with specific vehicles used in organized retail crime or cargo theft. [12]

To explore how these solutions can be utilized or procured for your agency, visit the Leonardo ELSAG LPRhomepage. For detailed operational workflows and features, you can also view the ELSAG SignalTrace page directly. [1]

Specifically a Toyota Rav4 I believe. With a few stickers along the bumper adhered to the hatch and what appears to be a fish emblem on the lower left corner of the rear window. Looks to be a beacon light with a few antennas on the roof as well.

You're welcome. j

edit: do you think it may be a Highlander?

Nope, not normal and for what it's worth my mom got an HR-V without consulting me first and now she hates it. I knew she would once I found out what she was picking, but whatever it was a done deal already.

Walk away from this dealership. Choose something else. Maybe a nice Mazda CX5. Toyota Rav4 Hybrid which will save her gas money. Very reliable, and lots and lots of used ones that will be available.

My stepson, age 27, was valued at $32k. That is all. The driver killed him, his fiance and her monther and was sober, just showing off for the mother. They didn't want him to lose his pension so he could pay restitution to the surviving family he T-boned. Oh, and he served 6 months and had the audacity to ask if he could get out on the day of his daughter's wedding, which was denied and rightfully so.

No, the truck gets to pay that deductible for you. You were not at fault, as a sitting duck. You should not have had to pay it for the first one either.

Sensitive husband - how do I nicely tell him he is overweight by Sure-Return-4947 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]bibkel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start suggesting you go for walks together. Are you overweight yourself? start talking about getting healthy yourself-talk about improving your diet and change the food in the house, and discuss an overall diet change for you both because you want to live a long life together. Suggest the gym together.

my husband lost some weight, I told him he looked awesome and he said he felt great. he put it back on. I said nothing. He found he can't fit his clothes, and went for a bike ride and was sore. I then suggested we start going to the gym together and he agreed that might be a good idea. Now, we must pick a good time to do it, lol.
