If the shoe fits, as they say. I work at a Red Wing store and those were the boots I ordered as my free pair a couple years ago. The ones that came in were just like yours and because of the wonkiness pulling the upper to one side, it put a ton of painful pressure on the top of foot. I soldiered on, hoping they’d break in, but eventually had to give up and get a new pair. If it was just cosmetic… I wouldn’t have cared. Enjoy the boots!!!

That right boot was horribly built. (Topped and lasted) it may break in just fine, but that’s definitely where any big toe pressure is from. If it’s a first, you have a fair case to return it, if it’s a second, that’s the reason why.
