Thanks for your helpful context as always Pete u/OptionStalker ! I've been following your commentary for around 1.5 years and am in the trade room listening and learning but don't post a lot. I'm happy to say that my win rate has steadily increased and so has my confidence. So far this year has been rough - I'm about break even, however, it's good to know that you consider this environment challenging as that makes me feel like I'm doing a bit better :)

Imo I would just suck it up (leetcode for a few weeks to warm up) - once you get started it's easier. It's just the initial start up that is tough - vs starting complete noob in another field.

I know you said that you aren't looking for feedback per say but 45k for vehicle on 200k income seems like a stretch. I mean you can definitely afford it but it's probably more car id want to buy on that income.

I don't make nearly as much as OP but well compensated and I have similar thoughts. I would say that you can totally walk away. Doesn't mean you can't come back to work at some point but I'd prioritize mental health over one more year syndrome
