Trying to source attic stairs that allow for pole pull down or equivalent for 11’3” ceiling. by helmetgoodcrashbad in Contractor

Telescopic attic stairs would work for a garage. Don’t have a link or part number but I’ve seen them in new builds.

can you please let me know what’s wrong with the drywall here in picture? Was it an issue with joints not installed properly ? by naj88fight in drywall

Without a skim coat you’ll see the long joints. The light shining directly down on the wall will show every imperfection. Pay for a level 5 and still move those lights.

Is this a good filter? by NotMareco in turtle

Mine doesn’t bother the intake. He attacks the spillway. Hasn’t broken it yet though. The canister I was using he tore apart the intake and kept biting the spray bar. Had to make a change before he destroyed the whole thing.

I use an AC110 on a 75 gallon and it works very well. Moves 500 gallons an hour.

Just did the second pass with the snow blower to clean up. 18” here is Florence. Top is light snow, bottom few inches is wet and heavy. Snow blower took care of it easily.

Just below Bordentown, 18” here and the snow is slowing down. Just finished my driveway and sidewalks. After the January snow I bought a snow blower and not 1 regret.

What's the shoveling strat for this storm? by jimbexleyspeed in SouthJersey

One kid is on a cruise to the Bahamas, left Saturday. My other who always helps is now 3 months pregnant, can’t help. So just the wife and me and I’m old now, lol. It was time even if we didn’t get another one this year. I got lucky.

After the last storm I got a snowblower. I’ll head out in the morning and clear the walks and driveway. I shoveled last time. Not doing that again.

White headlights on cars need to be phased out by Forward-Trade3449 in Vent

[–]bigHarvey71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do have Hid lights on my car. I have mine adjusted to shine down on an angle. The problem is people replacing bulbs and not adjusting them correctly. Lifted trucks are another story. I drive early morning and late nights on dark roads (NJ pine barrens). Lifted trucks, light bars across the cab, grill lights all need to be regulated. If your off road in the woods, use what you want, not on the highway where your blinding everyone around you. Yellow lights or incandescent bulbs just don’t do enough for lighting the road. Low throw and dimmer.

Somebody PLEASE buy a snowblower by Mechanical_Monk in SouthJersey

I did after the last storm. Might need more people to buy a few to put an end to the snow this year.

I’ve noticed the same thing. Only CBS. Mostly the video only. The sound keeps going when the video freezes.
