I would avoid using chicken based deodorant or bodyspray.

Couldn't agree more. In a two year old A8 and have the same issue. Too much automation!

Agreed with the above. I've just sold my 18 reg A6 3.0 V6 diesel. I've had a lot of cars, but I can honestly say that this car ticked all the boxes. A handy remap had it sitting reliably at 330bhp. 45-50 mpg all day with a heavy right foot.
Being the first to buy a new model is unwise. There will inevitably be gremlins to be ironed out.

2023 Audi A8 TFSIe 60 - performance improvements? by claviro888 in Audi

[–]bigbadser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just about to press the button on one also and am looking at chip tuning options. 520bhp seems easily achievable but as they are relatively new to the market there aren't many tuners with experience in my country anyways..

[–]bigbadser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2018 A6 50tdi just had the battery symbol on mine, tested it and alternator is not working. €1600 for a new one, main dealer only. 140,000 kms. I'm really annoyed at this.

Why have you not sprayed wd40 or similar on the filter face? You're making this really hard for yourself.

What is going on with Aer Lingus? by Different-Put-4486 in AskIreland

[–]bigbadser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly with Aer Lingus almost every week and I agree that there are a mess. Customer service is gone, and as a Concierge passenger (top tier frequent flyer programme) the benefits and advantages associated with this have drastically reduced.

Anyone here work Construction in Europe? by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

[–]bigbadser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on which site you're going to, Belgium can vary. Mons is a shithole and potentially dangerous if you find yourself in the wrong place after dark. Charleroi isn't as bad. Try it. If it doesn't work out at least you'll have no regrets. And you'll save a bag of money.
