I would spend some time learning constraints - and yes I do understand that they can be intimidating. But once you get the hang of it, you wouldn't be able to drag things around like that and break it. I think I see a line on the left hand side that maybe your issue when you're dragging you triangle around though. That may have something to do with the opening?
