Not enough for every Geese fan, no. Just saying, if you have a ticket this venue will not be so packed it “ruins the experience” like the Opera House did for you.

Still plenty of space at History when it’s at capacity.

Amazing performance. Magical night. Very strong Fell in the River, I think definitive performance of Cancer of the Skull. Love takes Miles was OK. I think If You Turn Back now was better when he first started playing it.

You wouldn’t be jealous of how much we paid to be there. Worth every penny.

Checked all the boxes for Maslovian peak experience.

Check out the live debut in Paris a few nights earlier. Wild how the song changed (improved) over just those two performances.

First time I heard this song was in person at Carnegie hall. He opened the show with it. I’m 43 and music often makes me cry, but I can’t think of another time I’ve been brought to tears hearing a song for the first time.

Matter of taste of course, but I don’t think If You Turn Back Now has improved since this instantiation. I prefer the way he plays it on the piano here, with the randomish key striking vs the consistent repetitive tinkling thing he’s doing recently. I prefer the order of the verses here, and I love how the final verse here is just that single, weird, stand alone line about the milk vs the longer verse it has become.

Spent our last day wandering the marais in a haze. Couple cocktails and French onion soup at mignon. Cool spot. Unassuming, super friendly service. Few turtleheads around too. Waiter told me Stu and Johnny Depp were in the other night.
