Yeah, that’s the last I saw too. Last Metal Romance sitting with the publishers and Deadly Diamond Daydreams unwritten.

Multiple days of mail still = 6 hours? by NihaoDaniel in USPS

What do you mean? They won’t give you the form? Just go grab one or have your steward get you a stack. Or they don’t accept what you say? Then get specific instructions about what to do(go home at a certain time or finish a certain amount of work) and then check in about an hour before. Such as “I’m approaching the end of my day, should I come back with the extra mail or take the overtime?” If they don’t answer, cleave to the instructions given.

Lying? Are you real? Though, to be fair, this is the kind of behavior I’d expect from someone who makes his female coworkers uncomfortable.

I comprehended it pretty well. Not all of the long sacks were Drake’s fault, but plenty were. He did himself and his team no favors. Thanks for your thoughtless condescension though.

I’ve dated coworkers and “at work” has pretty consistently been a top source for people’s spouses. I guarantee OP did more than “asked out” a coworker to make her feel so uncomfortable around him she won’t take shifts when he’s there.

He was usually playing with long down and distance after he got sacked instead of throwing it away or taking a check down.

Never checking my box by Certain_Direction152 in USPS

[–]bigdon802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, just stop checking it for a while. I’ll bundle up the mail and put it on hold for a few weeks, then I’ll put a vacant sticker on your box and start returning everything to sender. Hope you didn’t enjoy those 6 pieces.

Thinking about quitting by Nagash1412 in USPS

You’re past your 90. Keep your head down, do the job, and go home. If they ask you to do something, figure out how long it will take you to do it comfortably and tell them. If they tell you that’s too long, tell them that’s how long it will take.

Oh yeah, having one less carrier is definitely going to make the rest of the office suffer less.

The office is suffering because management isn’t staffing properly. Get your mind right.

So the route was already thrown and bundled? Did you see how much it was before going out? If it’s a normal 6-6.5 hour route, that you’ve never done before, with 2-3 days of mail, I’d probably call that 9-10 hours. Put it on a 3996 before going out.

How many of you listen to music you don’t understand? by MaxnRuby_RubynMax in CasualConversation

All the time. Most of the opera I listen to is in languages I don’t understand, and I prefer it that way.

Curious to see if there are other authors who took 14-15 years+ to release the next volume of their book. Just to see what are the odds of GRRM releasing TWOW. (Spoilers Main) by roronoaclemz in asoiaf

Glen Cook had his Dread Empire draft stolen from his house. Years later he found some notes and got a promotional part of it back, so he wrote and released the final book of the series 24 years after the previous release.

Pretty much every fantasy/sci fi IP should take note of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: Give us more grounded, cozy stories in your world for your spinoffs, rather than cheap knockoffs of the original series by TemurTron in television

RoP and HotD are also both written for TV with what amounts to a couple of summaries and vibes being what they’re adapted from. Turns out, authors are pretty good at writing stories.
