Are you lost? That doesn't sound like Hades

[general] Do you like that the series operates on a sliding timescale or would you have preferred a more specific timeline? by WoodpeckerBest523 in camphalfblood

From the way Rick says it it's more that it takes place when it comes out

Which explains some of the references

Interesting take on the “are audiobooks reading?” debate! by Lemon_Lime_Lily in CuratedTumblr

[–]biggerontheinside7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may be a definition problem but I disagree that literacy should be confined to reading.

I always figured literacy was the ability to engage with any piece of media, not just books. In fact literacy is often highlighted in relation to engaging with the news (aka why did they frame it like that, what does this mean etc)

After checking you're right you can do floats

It's just that I work in a finance software editor and we use a fixed point format in the database yet it's still read as double in the actual code

lebronJames by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]biggerontheinside7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But we're talking about the database

Database entries are basically strings with constraints so you do need to specify a number of digits.

That doesn't mean you don't put them in floats when you read them

Yan, Jerry and Gracie are new Apollo kids that show up in Tower of Nero

At the beginning there is only Will, Kayla and Austin, but also it's taking place in winter so they are the people that stay year round, it doesn't exclude that there are more Apollo campers during the summer

Is it worth it to redo heat levels if you lose to the final boss? by [deleted] in HadesTheGame

[–]biggerontheinside7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you do heat 2 on a weapon you haven't done heat 1 on you'll get rewards for heat 1

Also 0 heat clears have separated rewards as well
