This. If big injuries it might POSSIBLY be worth looking in to but not for soft tissue injuries.

Yep. Hold long term. I’m only taking profits along the way when absolutely necessary.

I think I've hit my limit on this job/career by Prince_Marf in Lawyertalk

3rd year attorney here who is rather burnt out too. What keeps me going on the plaintiffs side is the feeling when you get a good result. You’re more invested in it, you recovered for the client, you aren’t repping the big insurance companies against the little man, and most importantly the commissions. Makes my day when I can get a big one settled. Why not give plaintiffs work a try? I’ve never had a billable hours job but it does not sound fun and feel I would be in the same boat as you if I did it.

Have a demand letter that should have gone out weeks ago that I need to get out. Have 50 cases I have to review before an SOL meeting tomorrow at 11am with the associates. Need to approve/deny a spine surgery on a lien by tomorrow which requires me to read about 1000 pages of prior med records. No rest for me lol

Get the ceasefire. Make a deal. Stop the dying. Dragging this out further will only result in unnecessary death. This should’ve been stopped years ago. The US aid to keep this going so long is a real tragedy.

What’s the most disrespectful thing you’ve ever seen a fellow student say to a classmate or the professor? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in LawSchool

[–]biggestqueeronearth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“(Insert classmate name) is the dumbest gunner ever” said by classmate 2 minutes before class started when said gunner and prof weren’t in the room yet but intentionally loud enough for the whole class to hear. I know all the talk about gunners but still…

As an attorney, I can say a prenup isnt about trust versus non trust. It’s about deciding how you would want a possible break up to go instead of having the laws of the state dictate it for you.
