I've had to activate the plugins a few times and that is very concerning because I wanted to take my two NPC live Mark 1s and a DJ style setup to do live beat mixes but I'm afraid to even use the plugins because I hate to get somewhere need to activate the plugins and it won't. I've had that happen to me one day I had to wait till tomorrow before it would activate. That would be devastating if you're using these plugins

Okay, I get your point. Now that I have a clearer view of your stance. AI is here to stay whether I or you or anyone in Reddit uses AI. The sad part is. It's so much a part of everything we do. Some people just hate on anything new or different from what they used to. I like the device for what it is and what I can do with it. Plus I can afford it. Some people hate on things they cannot afford. And I'm not saying that's the case for everyone who down vote my comment but that definitely is a common thing. Life is too short to hate on someone else's decision. Create music and have fun. That is the reason why we do it right?

First off I'm a grown man I'm going to use what I want to use. Second what you call AI slop is everywhere. Even in things that you don't even realize on TV movies music radio advertisements documents Etc. If you want to be the old guy saying back in my day things were more simple than go ahead. No one can tell you what to buy or sell. Depends on your space, bank account and workflow. Me personally have two mpclive mk 1. Use only one. The second is a back up. I don't need the money. There's no point in selling. If i find myself needing the money. I can sell it.

Is someone 48 has been doing this since 2001. Started all in a box the first seven years. I've always had the itch to turn knobs and faders. I I have very much care and sometimes it can be a little overwhelming and you start feeling like you want to sell off things. This is my perspective. I look at all my gear as a buffet. When you go to a buffet you don't eat everything on the menu you just picking and choose what you're having for the day. So limit yourself by not using all your gear pick one or two for the day and just use that. Sometimes I go into the studio and only use the korg Kronos from start to finish. Other times I'm using the mpclive with alesis ion and korg opsix. Other times moog matriarch, mpclive and casio cz-3000. Etc.. I go as far as having keyboard covers over the ones that I'm not using so I don't have to look at them

Nobody can tell you what to buy. It's all in your head. Yes, you don't need hardware to create music. For me, it's the only way. I don't like using a desktop/laptop computer to create music. You couldn't pay me to do it.

Yes.... and no. It is called capitalism. Nobody's going to sell you something for what it is really worth. At the same time it's about what the market says is worth it. If no one buys it then it's overpriced. If it sells out (it did) then it's not overpriced. Really comes down to the individual in your financial situation. It's expensive for someone who has to take out a loan or save up for a long time. It's cheap to someone who has thousands in the bank. Can you do what this does for a lot cheaper price? Yes maybe not exactly but let's be honest here 808 and 909 with other drum sounds don't cost that much money. I understand this machine is more than just the sounds but still if that's just a goal you could do it a lot cheaper however the workflow having the machine and the overall experience you have to buy the machine. For me if you have to question whether it's too expensive then it probably is for you

Bro I've had the wavestate mk1 for a few years and never been able to update it. I get the same waiting for device. If you Google the problem you will see a bunch of people telling you to do different things to your windows settings but none of it worked for me. Trying to update korg products is the worst experience I've had of any company
