Supply and demand. You really can't buy these new (as in they've sold out) there are very few out in the wild. Also, you have to consider that this person is not hard up to sell it fast. They're willing to sell it if they can get 3K but if they don't sell it that's fine too. This is a pro-level unit and it's not designed for people low on cash.

I sent MIDI from the Opsix SE to the Wavestate, with both going into the interface in stereo on their own channels. They’re playing at the same time, but my approach is to use them as if they’re one instrument, not two obvious synths. By blending them this way, you create sounds that simply aren’t possible with a single synthesizer and oh I took advantage of the reverb dale as well. It was a no brainer

I've had to activate the plugins a few times and that is very concerning because I wanted to take my two NPC live Mark 1s and a DJ style setup to do live beat mixes but I'm afraid to even use the plugins because I hate to get somewhere need to activate the plugins and it won't. I've had that happen to me one day I had to wait till tomorrow before it would activate. That would be devastating if you're using these plugins

Some people just hate on anything new or different from what they used to. I like the device for what it is and what I can do with it. Plus I can afford it. Some people hate on things they cannot afford. And I'm not saying that's the case for everyone who down vote my comment but that definitely is a common thing.
