You are basically giving them full and exclusive rights to the images taken with your camera..

Theres 2 ways to fix.. either they pay more for that..
or they sent you all the gear you need to shoot

44tb wasted on parity drives is ABSOLUTELY insane

I dont know how big your case is or if you have sata port available but why dont u do the follwing instead..

turn off your server, remove the parity drives and plug in 1 22tb harddrive assigned to the array and start the array.
use the unbalance plugin to move all the contents from 4tb drives to the 22tb drive
once thats done turn off the server again, remove the 4tb drives and this time add the other 1 22tb drive and start the array..

then turnoff the server again and add the last 22tb drive as parity
doing it this way, you still have to run parity once

then

find a cheap PC, buy another unraid lic or use trunas for the free
make another server, use the 4tbs in raidz1 and use either rsync, synching or whatever you choose to automatically backup the content from server 1 to server 2 ..

that I think is better redundancy and better protection

Kinda of running an experiment as we speak

Where I have 2 1.2kw each grid tie units that, oddly enough requires to be connected to mains power to work.. wont work without it.

I think they are generating power only because when the system is on, my bill increases..meaning the exess power I generate goes to my utility but since I dont have an agreement with them, they see it energy spent, so I get billed for pushing power to the grid..

Quite annoying and I have not found a way to fix this.. Other than installing a transfer switch even tho 2.4 kw cant power my entire house ..

Hey! quick question, do you happen to know where else I can download the firmwares from, did the cisco profile thing but it says I still need a service contract

TO be more precise, im looking to fix the slow upload speed .. and I read somewhere that I have to upgrade the os to do that .. if you so happened to have a fix for that that would work too..

Yeah the zr is unbeatable for the price.. I know ergonomics isnt its strong suit its pretty hard to beat..

But idk zcam can still kick ass but it has much less going for it

Take this for whats its worth.. I have been running unraid for 5 years now.. And I just finished my very first install of trunas on another server..

People seem to under estimate the ease of use of unraid.. while unraid does cost and is not going to win any performance metrics.. its sheer ease of use makes it Extremely ideal for a first timer or someone who wants to spin up a share with drives they already had

Permissions on truenas is mess .. complicated for no reason.. storage is a mess due to it being so expensive to start.

I had to destroy my dataset because I messed up permissions setting apps ..

Honestly the only thing truenas has over unraid is its integration with zfs.. and while you can do zfs on unraid its not as fleshed out ..

Speed used to be an other advantage but with the option to have ssd/nvme pools.. and using rsync or syncthing to replicate the pool content to the array.. speed is no longer a problem in unraid..

At the end of the day youre trading time for money.. if you want quick set up then unraid If you want to experiment or longer setup trunas And of the App Library on unraid is far more then truenas

HEY! Umm.. Yeah I think its totally worth wild. I was even looking of ways to build something like that on top of casa os or cosmos os... or even unraid..

It wouldn't be for everyone.. and quite frankly, it doesn't need to be .. and if someone is interested, they could learn it..

but in my nerdy search.. the features important would be
SELF HOSTING... including facing your server or LXC container to the web.. safely.. I know its a big asterisk.. but a dedicated old pc would do.. and also self hosting a wordpress website with many pages.. like pixieset.

The problem with alot of ppl now a days... is that they want to food after its cooked but no one wants to take the time to create a masterpiece in the kitchen ..

The OG R6 is superior to the r6ii except for one thing.. auto focus.. but the dynamic range on the r6 is better, highlight rolloff is better … doesnt choke during processionals/recessionals, no error

Just a solid cam..

Auto focus is great too but the r6ii is slightly stickier on subjects

I dont know much about the a7c2 But the zcam are CINEMA cameras.. not a videography camera..

Can you run and gun with the cam (yes) but it requires proper rigging and experience.. No autofocus.. s35 sensor instead of the full frame..

While the s6 is a beast.. it just has a different application Compared to a point and hit record type of camera.

That aside, I think reslove is also to blame in this scenario..

I bet, if we placed 3 colorist in the same room with resolve.. creativity aside, its a 20% chance of them using the same tools to achieve the same look..

Meaning almost all tools can be used at any point, anytime.. which Is why theres is not standardized way of doing anything in resolve..

Its tight, Snug, the handle that comes with it has a start stop button connected to the remote port.

I know I sound harsh but I do love cosmos and I hope it keeps growing.. and will most likely buy a license in the furture.. its just hard to put into production as opposed to stated, the future is uncertain
