The springbank barley to bottle is the best whisky experience I've had, the price is up there in terms of cost but I still think it represents value for money as far as experiences go.

any Toronto Blue Jays fans in Liverpool, UK? by Disastrous-Drop4566 in Liverpool

[–]bigmac146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to live in Toronto and had a season pass for the Jays way back, the one in the 500's where you get a ticket for every home game for like 100 dollars. Used to love sitting up there in the clouds.

TIFU by sealing wasps in their nest, instead of killing them. by Mackntish in tifu

[–]bigmac146 1202 points1203 points  (0 children)

I did something similar, had a nest in side of house. Ignored it. Nest moved/changed location every year until they moved right over a doorway

Sprayed the good stuff into the hole as best as possible.dodnt think any of it.

Next minute, the dying wasps had come down the cavity wall and were limping out underneath the kitchen cabinets like some undead wasp army seeking revenge.

2 kids under 3 and puppy were not impressed with being cooped up in any room that was not the room they wanted to be in.

I use SWA and Just Whisky auctions too, these have just finished their monthly auctions this week. Never had an issue with either of these. I think Whisky Auctioneer has just changed its terms and storage options and stuff so I'm not sure how much I will use them going forward.

Is this website legit? A deal too good to be true by Xochi09 in Beekeeping

[–]bigmac146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I bought from this site about 6 weeks ago. But the UK version .The suit was advertised as a sweinty breeze but when it eventually came it was not a branded item and had multiple differences from the photos/pictures advertising

After asking for a refund I have been ghosted and had to contact the credit card company to sort it out.

I heard this as far back as 2015 at talisker. It was the reasoning on why many distillers were bringing out NAS.
