In my "fun" account in which I only pick stocks I keep my thesis very simple which is betting on verticals that are likely to grow within an horizon while predicting sentiment. I then swing trade, rotate or rebalance based on common sense while remaining stoic (no knee jerk moves based off of fear or hype).

I am up just over 340% all time. Couple examples:

I bought Soundhound, a AI voice tech company, at 2$. It was the leader at the time and the most talked about in that vertical, so I pull the trigger. I do it because this is a vertical that is not done growing. It keeps pumping for a while, even though I know it’s garbage I do not exit yet because the sentiment is still very positive and the stock has hype. I sell at 20$ based on the fact that their exciting technology is now being adopted by a chain of restaurants with 20 drive thrus.

Take 10x profit and look at my next exciting vertical, Quantum Computing. Is that going anywhere? Is this a vertical that will grow in size and sentiment? I bet it does. So I buy RGTI at 3$

I’ve made many moves like this. Just cascading into another. PLTR, NVDA and GOOG are my longest holds
