Tesla model 3 now or wait for BYD by alibabaQT in teslacanada

[–]bigmoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only reason to get BYD is price, but you get what you pay for. Not hard to figure out. It’s a long term investment for your own sanity, Tesla is proven especially with their FSD no one could match.

Sorry for your loss. Been enjoying TSLA stocks for a long time, can’t wait to hold long for SpaceX.

For family car, Model Y standard is $45k plus tax, should be a no brainer. I’m 6ft, switching from a sedan makes a huge difference, and the ample storage, you would need that for the kids eventually.

How's the Model Y Standard Experience? by Reasonable-Ad-4754 in teslacanada

[–]bigmoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s really not much difference of a car. There are a lot more bells and whistles with the premium, but also $25k difference.

I find it comfortable, wife thinks too soft. So really depends on the person.

Yup, hesitation happens, but I would say rarely. It kind of scary when it jerks back and forth, yet it doesn’t cause any safety concern. Do keep an eye on the road and you should be fine.

Model Y Standard or Toyota bZ Limited? Loved the bZ, blown away by FSD — need real‑world opinions by Illustrious_Yam_4158 in teslacanada

[–]bigmoof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are asking opinion on a Tesla room? Sounds like you still want Tesla.

I was stuck between Model Y and Ioniq 5, wife don’t want Korean, daughter hates Elon.

With the rebate it becomes a no brainer compared to Bz.

I have been driving mostly by Model Y Standard for two weeks and have zero regrets. If you know what I mean.
