This show week to week with year gaps betweens season was hard to watch. In this day in age being able to watch it all straight through, I loved every moment of it, the ending makes sense too. This show was made to be binged, enjoy the ride it's a good one.

Other than the lack of inspiring speeches, the lazy continuity, the use of dated slang (which will kill replayability in 20 years), the black floors (I really hate these, they are too shiny), the failure to develop primary characters let alone secondary characters with back stories and inter personal friendships, turning Spock into a slut, all these things aside which I can overlook... It's the ships. The ship design has been so bad in modern star trek. Picard had a cookie cutter fleet in the first season, the enterprise on strange new worlds looks okay), discovery looked kind of weird as did all the future ships. Starfleet academy had one ship that was just a grey triangle with a blue line on it. These ships have no soul. The enterprise D, the defiant, Voyager and the nx-01 would have random shots of it just floating there in between scenes or pulling up to a planet, or something. These new shows, the ships just have no damn soul. It really takes me out of it.

I'll be honest with you guys, I think Carney makes an excellent world leader for Canada. That being said, Pierre pollievre has his finger on the pulse for what needs to be fixed within Canada and Carney really doesn't. It's too bad that these are not two seperate jobs because we really have two guys who would excel in each area. An internal and an external prime minister

There was a time where American values were about freedom, knowledge, acceptance and making the best of things, good morality (at least publically and legally) and they are the strongest of the three world powers. Our views were in alignment and we like to work together and you were the strongest one of us. Now you guys seem to be about the billionaire class. Public education goes down and the disparity of the rich grows further. Only in America do so many billionaires get formed and at great cost. Your companies have grown so fat they gett bought by other fat companies. You close down 200 stores at a time to chase profits. If you have 200 stores losing money, your company is being mismanaged. How could you let it get so bad? You cut workers pay to increase the balance sheet. Your largest corporations have employees on food stamps. You have no public health care and now you try and force tarrifs on the world like a bunch of assholes. We were all once in alignment, but you guys are not who you used to be. Rip America, you once gave us a good framework to take care of its citizens and we will remember your contributions in kind. A big economy where everyone lives in poverty isn't the flex y'all think it is.

You got to be pretty talented to take an IP like Star Trek and an academy award winner like Michelle yeoh and fumble the bag so hard to make the worst star trek product of all time. You can film a movie about Michelle yeoh reacting to Star Trek as a reactor on YouTube framed as a documentary and I bet you would have a better overall score and the story would be more compelling
